A few practical answers from our Chantilly fabrication shop.
Do you sell countertops directly to homeowners?
Yes. We template, fabricate and install for homeowners. If a contractor or designer is managing your project, tell us and we will coordinate through them.
Do you have a showroom? When are you open?
Visit our working fabrication shop. Open 7 days: Mon–Fri 7 AM–6 PM · Sat 7 AM–4 PM · Sun 12–4 PM. Call (703) 945-7584 before you come, so we can prepare the slabs you want to see.
How much stone can I browse?
About 2,000 slabs and 600 remnants in the shop; 1,606 full slabs and 292 remnants are listed online right now.
What materials do you work with?
Quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain and Dekton. Send your preferred stone and a sketch so we can help with your selection.
How do I get a quote?
Send a sketch with rough measurements, the color you like and your project location. Pricing depends on material, finished dimensions, edges, cutouts and installation.
What does a quote include?
Your quote shows fabrication, installation and templating, with cutouts, edge upgrades, backsplash and supports listed as separate lines.
How do you measure?
We measure with Prodim digital templating on site once your cabinets are installed. Before cutting, we work through a layout with you showing seams and vein placement for your approval.
Can I buy a remnant for a vanity?
Yes. Browse our remnants by material and size. We can cut and install a suitable piece as your vanity top, or supply it as-is to your fabricator.
Can I hire you directly, without a general contractor?
Yes. Homeowners hire us directly for templating, fabrication and installation. If a contractor or designer is running your project, we work through them.
Can I replace my countertops and keep my cabinets?
Usually, yes. Stone is heavy, so the cabinets need to be level, solid and free of water damage. Tell us about any cabinet that is loose or out of level before we template.
What should I do before the template visit?
Have your cabinets installed and level. If you want us to mount your sink, have the sink and faucet on site when we measure. Pick your stone and edge. Clear the counters and move anything in the way. Be there, or have someone there who can decide on overhangs and seams.
What happens on installation day?
Our install crew brings the finished pieces, sets and levels them, and joins the seams.
How do you decide where the seams go?
We lay out your pieces on photos of your actual slabs. You see where the seams and veins fall, and you approve the layout before we cut.
Can I buy a single slab or remnant without fabrication?
Homeowners and fabricators can buy slabs and remnants from our racks as-is for pickup.
How long from measuring to installation?
Usually 2–3 business days from the day we measure, when your slab comes from our yard. Special-order stone takes longer.
Do you remove old countertops and reconnect plumbing?
Yes. We remove and haul away old countertops. Plumbing disconnect and reconnect is handled through a plumber we work with. Tear-out and plumbing each appear as separate lines on your quote.
Is vein matching standard?
Yes. Vein matching is standard on our jobs.
Do you stock 2 cm and 3 cm stone?
We stock both 2 cm and 3 cm.
Do I need brackets for an overhang?
Quartz needs support brackets for overhangs over 12 inches. For granite, marble and quartzite, support depends on the stone; we will advise for yours.
How long before I can use my new countertops?
Ready once the silicone dries, usually 5–8 hours after installation.
Can I reserve a slab?
Yes. With a 50% deposit, we hold your slab for one week.
Which edges do you offer?
An eased edge is standard. Mitered and waterfall edges are quoted as upgrades.
Can I buy a remnant cut to size for pickup?
Yes. We cut remnants to size for pickup. Homeowners can also buy slabs and remnants as-is.
Will you fabricate a slab I bought elsewhere?
Yes. We fabricate and install slabs bought elsewhere.
Do you carry insurance?
Insured: general liability, workers’ comp, auto and umbrella coverage.
Do you offer repairs and sealing?
Yes. We offer repairs and sealing, including countertops installed by other shops. Contact us with photos and details of the work needed.

Do you work with contractors and kitchen and bath firms?
Yes. We template, fabricate and install under your brand. The client relationship stays with our trade partner.
Can you handle commercial and multifamily work?
Yes. We have worked on commercial projects since 2016 and support submittals, shop drawings, seam diagrams and closeout documentation. Send the plans, finish schedule and countertop specification.
