The Stone Studio provides field templating and stone countertop installation across DC, Maryland and Virginia. Work is coordinated from our Chantilly shop with the homeowner’s or trade partner’s project team. Discuss your location, scope and site conditions with the office before planning a visit.

Prepare the site for measurement
Tell the team about cabinet readiness, changes to the layout, sink and appliance selections, and any areas still under construction. Confirm the project’s actual measurement requirements with the office. Approximate planning dimensions do not replace the final template.
Coordinate the installation day
Discuss access, stairs or elevators, occupied rooms and the other trades working on site. Share the project lead’s contact so open questions reach the right person. Plumbing, electrical and other surrounding work should be assigned explicitly in the project scope rather than assumed to be included.

Can you work through my contractor?
Yes. Include the contractor or designer’s name in the inquiry. For an existing trade-led job, we coordinate the stone scope through that project team.
